Red Rose Transportation Race Team
Racing is a part of our culture at Red Rose Transportation. Owner, Julianne Scelzi, is married to four-time NHRA champion Gary Scelzi, and together they have raised two sons who are now racing throughout the nation as a part of Gary Scelzi Motorsports. Brothers, Dominic and Giovanni, have known racing since the day they were born. They began racing at age six and now both drive 410ci Winged Sprint Cars with series like the World of Outlaws, All- Star Circuit of Champions, and the Northern Auto Racing Club (NARC).
Dominic is coming off a career best year collecting 23 wins in 2021, including a 4-race sweep of the Peter Murphy Classic, a Dirt Cup Nationals win and winning the NARC King of the West Sprint Car Championship.
In 2021, Giovanni signed with Iowa-based Sprint Car team, KCP Racing and won the prestigious 360 Nationals at Knoxville Raceway and became the youngest person to start on the pole of the 410 Knoxville Nationals at 19 years old.
Both Dominic and Giovanni are sponsored by many companies including Red Rose Transportation. We would love for you to join us at a racetrack near you. Stay tuned for the schedule of races to see if we will be in a city near you sometime soon.

Dominic has known racing since the day he was born. He was taught in the pits at a young age as he followed his father – four-time NHRA champion Gary Scelzi – from race to race across the country.

Once he turned 6 years old Dominic was allowed to officially compete in go-kart racing and despite missing a race because he was on the road with his family, Dominic claimed the track championship after winning all seven races he competed in that year.
He spent the next three years racing in a Junior Micro Sprint before moving into a Restricted Micro Sprint, which he powered to 18 feature wins and a track championship at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia, California.
Dominic stepped up to the Super 600 class in 2009 and became the youngest, at 12 years old, to win in that class. After dozens of victories and a track title at Lemoore Raceway in Lemoore, California, he began racing a Sprint Car in 2012.

Dominic has showcased the same ability to shine in a full-sized race car by winning in both a 360ci sprint car and a 410ci sprint car, including his first-ever victory at 15 years old. Since 2012, Scelzi has collected 50 total Sprint Car wins, including The World Challenge Race of Champions, Dirt Cup Nationals, Peter Murphy Classic, and an All- Star Circuit of Champions win in Chatham, Louisianna. Scelzi garnered King of the West Rookie of the Year Award and the 410 Rookie of the Year in 2013. He went on to claim the Knoxville Nationals Rookie of the Year in 2017 and claimed his first NARC King of the West Championship in 2021.

In 2022, Dominic will jump aboard the Scelzi Enterprises, Red Rose Transportation 41 in hopes to defend his NARC Championship, as well as make appearances at prestigious West Coast Events.
